Canon and Ilford smash print World Record
Digital print giant Canon has joined forces with speciality paper manufacturer Ilford to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest continuous digital photo print in the world.

The record print measured 109.04m long
Printed on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-6100 large-format photo printer, the piece was installed at the Schattenbergschanze ski jump hill in Oberstdorf in Germany, as part of the Oberstdorf Photo Summit.
The print features a collage of landscape images, photos of citizens and famous personalities from Oberstdorf, as well as sports and historical images.
The final piece measured 109.04m long and took 16 hours to print, using just 1.37l of ink in the process.
After completion and verification for the Guinness World Record, the print was split into individual motifs, with each being auctioned online to help raise funds for charity.
