After losing 3-0 at the Nou Camp, the return trip to Anfield was special – scoring four goals to come back from the brink of defeat. While Barcelona may have returned to Spain unhappy – the team did so in style. Barça’s bus was wrapped using Drytac’s Polar range.

An HP Latex 570 printer was used to print the graphics that adorned the whole of the coach, including the windows. Astra Signs printed the PVC wrap of Barcelona’s iconic colours and crest. Steve Broad, European and Asia sales director for Europe, a Liverpool fan and one of the lucky ones to attend both the first and second leg, spotted the Drytac-wrapped coach.

It’s always great to see Drytac products used for world-class applications – and even more so when it’s at a spectacular event like this match

He explains: “The actual bus drove past us and we spotted it outside the hotel in Liverpool where the Barcelona players were staying. It’s always great to see Drytac products used for world-class applications – and even more so when it’s at a spectacular event like this match.”

On choosing the Drytac Polar range, David Derbyshire, managing director of Astra Signs, explains: “It was important to use a product that we could print quickly due to the nature of this application, with consistent strong spot colours to match the brand. Installation of this material worked really well within the time constraints provided and, equally, the material was easy to remove leaving no marks or residue. The client was very happy with the end result.”
