The new overlaminate series offers higher conformability and longer durability for challenging wrap jobs

Avery Dennison has been described as “setting new standards for premium overlaminates” due to its new film’s “outstanding elongation properties.”

The new DOL 1400 Z Series is highly conformable and ultra-transparent and features Gloss DOL 1460Z, Matt DOL 1480Z and new Lustre DOL 1470Z PVC film. The range is said to bring new levels of clarity to highly demanding graphic applications whilst maintaining long durability.

“These new materials are the products of choice where high quality finishing and for the most challenging wrapping jobs,” explains Oliver Guenther, senior director, marketing and channel strategy at Avery Dennison.

“They will protect graphics on partial or full wraps and have the clarity and straightforward installation needed for private vehicles, commercial fleets or any other high-profile interior or exterior 3D applications.”

It gives installers both the ‘stop-and-look’ graphics performance and the 3D capabilities needed to make strong design statements

The new DOL 1400 Z series has been designed to work perfectly over Avery Dennison’s existing MPI 1105 wrapping series.

The MPI series delivers vibrant graphics across a range of digital inkjet printing platforms, including latex, UV curable, solvent and eco-solvent inks.

Speaking of the MPI wrapping series, Guenther says: “It gives installers both the ‘stop-and-look’ graphics performance and the 3D capabilities needed to make strong design statements on personal vehicles and powerful brand statements on commercial fleets.”

Using the new DOL overlaminates increases durability of the graphics and allows various finishes to enhance the design.

The new series will be on show at FESPA 2019 at stand E50, Hall B5, Munich Messe, from May 14th-17th.
