Dolly, the Citroën CV2, will travel around the UK to major events offering customers food and drink

The 1985 model on display, which is nicknamed Dolly, has been helicoptered into the Bicester Heritage motor hub, showcasing its new features courtesy of 3M together with Coastline Graphics.

Coastline used the 1080-S261 Satin Dark Grey and 1080-GP281 Gloss Flip Psychedelic wraps from 3M to create the new food truck, which boasts sous-vide charcoal oven and bar. The makeover is part of the 2CVat70 project, the name of the celebration of the Dolly model at 70.

James Archer, project manager at Coastline Graphics, says: “The Citroën 2CV is a beautiful car, so we wanted to make sure its exterior looked fittingly special for the model’s 70th birthday. 3M’s stunning wrap films have allowed us to create a magnificent finish that will look as good after hundreds of miles on the road as they do now.”

Dolly the C2V will tour Britain offering food and drink at sporting, motoring, and culinary events. First stop was the London Motor Show.

Andrew Mellon, creative director of the 2CVat70 project, adds: “We’re thrilled to have 3M on board as a principle supporter, as there’s no company better when it comes to wrap films, and their AVWs are also second to none.

“The car looks incredible. When I first saw what Coastline Graphics had done with 3M’s products, I couldn’t believe it was the same Dolly. She’s sure to catch more than a few eyes on her travels.”
