Drytac adds protection to Protac range
With the durability of signage and prints always important, Drytac has added a new solution to its Protac range, to specifically protect prints or signage printed using eco solvent, latex, and UV printers.

The latest addition to the Protac range has been designed to protect printed graphics, artwork, signage, and point-of-sale
The Anti-Scratch Gloss film has a scratch-resistant hard coat, a high gloss finish, and has been created to add protection to printed graphics. On one side, the film has been designed with a solvent acrylic adhesive, making it the product of choice for photographs, inkjet prints, and point-of-sale displays.
Drytac global product manager, Shaun Holdom, comments: “We’re delighted to add this new solution to our product range. Drytac Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss can be used with cold or heat-assisted laminators and features a high-performance adhesive developed by Drytac for the lamination of output from (eco)solvent, latex, and UV printers.”

Not only is protection the key for the clear film, but also the enhancement of the product. This feature means that not only signage, point-of-sale, and advertising benefit, but the film can be used in art galleries and museums to protect valuable work and exhibits.
“Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss is very durable thanks to its scratch-resistant hard coat,” says Holdom, adding: “Its formulation ensures that the final printed output has zero shrinkage, high clarity, and is resistant to chemicals. The adhesive is a solvent-based permanent acrylic which means it has good moisture resistance, and additionally, the siliconised polyester liner ensures a smoother finish.”
