The new series will include a range of colours, full of ostentatious names, such as Flip Psychedelic, Ocean Shimmer, Gloss Flame Red, Flip Volcanic Flare, and Satin Thundercloud

The Goodwood Festival of Speed offers an insight into the world of Formula 1, rally, and the world’s most luxurious vehicles, and took place last week.

It was also the perfect place for 3M, and three of its authorised vehicle wrappers to showcase its new range of car wrapping kits, as well as offering tips and advice. The firm did this by offering live demonstrations on a range of cars, including a BMW i8.

Other vehicles included a British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) car, which would have excited many petrol heads and racing fans. The BTTC challenger was wrapped in the latest finishes and colours from the Wrap Film Series 1380 and 1080.

We’ve recently had new products added to our portfolio for vehicle wraps so it made good timing to showcase these at one of the largest car festivals in the world

Not only were visitors able to witness the wrapping, 3M are offering ‘Made on the Spot’ wrap kits, which can be personalised for customers, and made to their taste, which were exclusively sold at the Festival of Speed.

Marketing assistant, Alex Bryce, says: “We’ve held a stand for the past three years now, [this year] the BMW i8 had significant interest and displayed the wraps very well. The lines of the vehicle lend itself to really highlight the colours and designs of our AVWs. We also had a lot of interest in wrap designs done on the Audi S1 we had on stand the printed wrap creating the Senna art car.

He finishes: “We’ve recently had new products added to our portfolio for vehicle wraps so it made good timing to showcase these at one of the largest car festivals in the world. This allowed us to be flexible with designs and really demonstrate our variety of premium wraps.”
