Slam Signs used 3M Print Wrap Film IJ180mC supplied by Spandex for a vehicle wrapping project

Since June 2016, Slam Signs has wrapped 45 vans for the Cats Protection charity, with six more to come.

The media used was supplied to Slam Signs by Spandex and was the 3M Print Wrap Film IJ180mC. Having worked with Spandex since 2015, owners of Slam Signs, David Jorge and Jodie Banfather, were confident they would provide the support needed to fulfil the brief.

Spandex recommended the new film, which was just right for the job and even arranged for swift next day delivery, which was a real bonus

“Spandex recommended the new film, which was just right for the job and even arranged for swift next day delivery, which was a real bonus,” explains Jorge.

He continues: “Based on our conversation, we opted for the white, 54" material and really couldn't be happier with the results—not only does it offer excellent printability but boasts an outstanding look and feel once on the vehicle, without any trace of seams.

“From an installation perspective, the material delivers a smooth, bubble-free finish that is much glossier than alternative products we've used in the past. Aesthetically speaking, the 3M IJ180mC material delivers a professional, high-gloss finish and looks so impressive once installed.”

Jorge highlights how a good quality film ensures a durable result: “While the price point is slightly higher, it is worth every penny and gives us the peace of mind that the customer will be happy with the end result and importantly, that the wrap will continue to look good for years to come.”

Slam Signs was “so impressed by the outcome” of the project that it has decided to use IJ180mC as its preferred wrapping film from now on.
