Having been approached by Formroom Architects, provided a range of products that were used to decorate the new restaurant, which is expected to attract much interest due to its links with footballing legend Giggs.

Matthew Garnett, sales and marketing director at James Robertshaw, comments: “Not only was this an incredibly prestigious opportunity, it was happening on my own doorstep, which made me absolutely determined to get involved.”

The company was instructed to provide two front elevation awnings, the largest of which measured 12m. Garnett and his team opted to encase aluminium profiles in special timber surrounds to complement the awnings—a decision that proved popular with both the architect and restaurant management.

The end result was two Solarshield A101: Jaguar awnings, one measuring 3.5m by 1.5m, and the other 12m by 2m. Both are fully automated with vibration sensors that retract the awnings in high winds, while both also boast heating accessories.

The project, which took just over two weeks, will allow the restaurant to seat an additional 25 to 30 diners.

Alex Pritchett of Formroom Architects, enthuses: “James Robertshaw knew exactly what we needed. They also knew exactly how to deliver it.”
