Newsreader and dementia care campaigner Angela Rippon shows off the newly diverse Find Signage range

In the past three years, the company has worked alongside mental health experts from Sterling University and Bupa to create more diverse objects such as dining products, visual communication boards, and memory boxes to help those suffering from dementia and degenerative cognitive disabilities.

Many of the boards have proved extremely popular, especially the menu boards, pain assessment charts, personal orientation boards, and activity cards, which are produced on Forex/Foamex, acrylic, aluminium, and Dibond boards.

The postcard images of meals are printed on 3 x 2m large format sheets, with the card quantities of up to 200 per sheet previously cut manually with a knife and ruler before they recently installed a AG/CAD DYSS X7 cutting table

The food menu wall mounted boards have pockets for patients to select their next meal from a selection of card images and position on the boards. Find Signage’s managing director, Anthony Cockcroft comments, highlighting some of the issues with offering such a diverse range of products. He says: "Our visual boards are available in a wide variety of dimensions, designs, and colours, so production of each type rarely stretches into double figures.

“In addition, a lot of the visual boards and signs are prototypes and development projects where we are creating samples for customers. This caused extended lead times and quality deviations prior to the installation of the DYSS X7."
