The Protek Unico TT went down a storm at Sign and Digital UK 2016, and now boasts an automated conveyor bed

Two for the price of one

Complete CNC Solutions has seen an extraordinary amount of growth recently, having relocated to larger premises to cope with increasing demand for its kit. The relocation was put into motion when the company started supplying Protek digital cutters and routers in the UK, which put a strain on its resources as a higher number of visitors flocked to its showroom to see the technology, and it needed greater warehousing and logistics capabilities.

Now, in a move that will strengthen its equipment portfolio even further, Complete CNC Solutions has revealed its latest version of the Protek Unico TT which it claims to be “the most fully featured and versatile digital cutter available” on the market.

The ‘buzz’ around this system is that it offers industrial levels of productivity and quality, but has managed to do it without the price tag of some competitors, or a reduction in its capabilities. Indeed, Protek seems to be doing the opposite. The manufacturer has an established reputation for its systems targeting the precision engineering sector, and manufactures the Unico TT in Italy.

Primarily a digital cutter, the new Unico TT can also compete with dedicated production routers, and therefore has been described by the company to ‘perform every print finishing operation a modern signs and graphics production company could need’. What makes the new Unico TT unique is that it has an automated conveyer bed with available part picking facilities—something busy sign-makers should find a real advantage.

It can deal with all machinable materials, resulting in output that has finished edges—meaning there is no need for further manual input. It also has a range of steered knives and a sophisticated print cut registration system.

Said to be fast, accurate, and to produce high quality output, Complete CNC Solutions assures companies with a need for print finishing or routing that the Unico TT is the right machine for them.

A full package

The machine comes in a range of sizes to suit different types of production spaces, with two conveyor sizes to choose from—3 x 1.6m and 3 x 2m—as well as three other sizes. The vacuum table surface ensures material is held down on the bed and is powered is multiple 4Kw side-channel blower vacuum pumps.

When purchasing the Unico TT through Complete CNC Solutions, you will get its Complete Care package as standard. This includes the arrangement of a suitable finance package, with grants if available, and a range of service interventions to keep the machine’s performance consistent. Installation and on-site training also come with the package.

Complete CNC Solutions has also revealed that it has kept the technology’s pricing static despite the new features.

“Those who’d like to see just what kind of quality the new system can produce can obtain a range of sample produced for just that purpose. Just contact us and you’ll be sent a sample pack. The most important fact though is that you are getting two versatile production systems in one equally package,” explains Julian Sage, managing director of Complete CNC Solutions.
