The history of Sign and Digital UK

So, it is that time of year again when sign-makers, display specialists, digital printers, and more flock to the NEC in Birmingham to take a look at the latest innovative products that are going to help your business—whether that means saving you money, time, or even giving you inspiration for a new revenue generator.

So, it is that time of year again when sign-makers, display specialists, digital printers, and more flock to the NEC in Birmingham to take a look at the latest innovative products that are going to help your business—whether that means saving you money, time, or even giving you inspiration for a new revenue generator.

This will be my third time at Sign and Digital UK and I look forward to seeing everyone there with a fresh perspective on the sign industry for 2017. Every year Signlink is greeted with positive faces and innovative technology and I expect much of the same this year. Make sure to catch us at the event if you have an exciting new launch or news you want people to hear about.

Being its 30th anniversary event, it is interesting to think about the history of Sign and Digital UK. If you would like to find out more about where it started, how it has changed, and where it is going, there is no better place to go than our Interview With section in this issue (page 72). Within it, I spoke to Rudi Blackett, portfolio director of Sign and Digital UK, about this year’s product launches, exhibitors, and themes, so be sure to check it out.

Of course, we also have our Sign and Digital UK feature (page 74) for all the key information you need to know, and the floor plan and exhibitor list for the ‘who, what, and where’.

You can read the latest issue in our online archive.
