Living the dream

SignLink Live sought to restore the balance by squarely focusing on the entire supply chain for sign-making businesses outside wide-format print in the UK, giving them a chance to shine without being overshadowed by multi-national printer manufacturers.

SignLink Live was co-located with The Print Show at The International Centre, and visitors were able to move easily between the two, so they had the chance to research new wide-format innovations at this sister event.

With its roots in the world of trade media, SignLink Live’s organising and creative team understands the value of inspiring, educating, and entertaining its visitors. To this end, the event also ran a comprehensive programme of unique features, that provided visitors with a valuable experience in terms of improving their business prospects.

In addition, SignLink Live celebrated ‘sign-making culture’ and bring together a community of like-minded UK entrepreneurs.

A good example is Craftsman’s Corner, which soguth to recognise that the making of signs is one of the world’s oldest forms of communication. Whether it was blown ink to form hand prints on a cave wall, or the first use of street names carved into walls in the Roman empire, the sign industry today builds on an amazing cultural heritage.
